Through The Welman Project, waste is reduced,

the burden on teachers is lessened,

and creativity and ingenuity thrive in the classroom.

Two Big Issues.

One Solution.

Waste output generated by businesses, and lack of resources in our schools. We use one idea to tackle these two seemingly unrelated problems in our community. The solution is simple, but often overlooked: reuse.

We pick up surplus materials from businesses and deliver them to classrooms free of charge, while working one-on-one with teachers to provide creative reuse and repair alternatives to purchasing new supplies. These innovative conservation skills are passed along to students as they experience firsthand the benefits of giving discarded items a second life.

Everything has value if you can find the right place for it. We exist to make those connections in Fort Worth.
